News: Football Announces Team Awards For 2007 Season

The Holy Cross football team has announced its team awards for the 2007 season. The awards were presented at the team's annual banquet, held on Saturday, February 9, in the Hogan Campus Center.
Leading the award winners was junior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio), who was named the 2007 Crusader Most Valuable Player. Randolph led the Holy Cross offense by completing 297 of 482 passes for 3,604 yards and 30 touchdowns with just eight interceptions.
Former LSU star halfback Konz dies at age 79

Kenny Konz, an All-Southeastern Conference halfback for the LSU Tigers in 1950 and a member of the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame, died in Alliance, Ohio, due to complications from pneumonia, the school announced Wednesday.
