Starting Southern California safety Kevin Ellison will have arthroscopic surgery early next week to repair torn cartilage in his right knee, and is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks.
Ellison was injured Thursday in practice. Will Harris will start in Ellison's place Saturday when the seventh-ranked Trojans face winless Washington at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
