Friday night was a historic night as UMass Chancellor Thomas W. Cole announced that lights will be installed at McGuirk Stadium for the 2008 football season at the team's annual banquet held at the Campus Center. Head coach Don Brown and his staff announced the team's award winners and national award winners. The players received their rings and watches to commemorate the 2007 season in which UMass captured the CAA Championship and reached the NCAA Quarterfinals.
